Knights CTW, FLB Darius Boyd has been admitted to a mental health clinic for depression and has been given indefinate leave.
Boyd was named in the Knights team for Round 20 but that was prior to this news and we wouldn't expect him to play.
Manly second rower Justin Horo will miss the next 3 weeks after accepting an early guilty plea in relation to a grade three dangerous contact charge issued to him after last Friday's game against the Tigers. Fortunately for Manly Anthony Watmough will return this week in place of Horo.
Tigers winger David Nofoaluma is likely done for the season after suffering another knee injury in last week's game against the Sea Eagles. Nofoaluma has had some recurring medial ligament issues but it now appears he has also damaged his ACL. Tigers staff say the current plan is for him to have surgery on the ACL next week, ending his season.
Panthers second rower / five eighth Tyrone Peachey suffered a pectoral tear in Monday's game against the Broncos. The injury carries a four month recovery time and will therefore end Peachey's season. This is a big blow for the Panthers who will also be without Peter Wallace in the halves for the next month. Matt Moylan is set to start at five-eighth this week against the Roosters.
Eels FLB, 5/8 Jarryd Hayne was not named for round 18 and has not travelled with the team.
Panthers halfback Peter Wallace is expected to miss approximately 6 weeks of action following a medial ligament tear suffered in Sunday's win over the Tigers. Soward will shift across to halfback with Tyrone Peachey coming into the starting side at five-eighth.
Storm CTW Will Chambers will not have charges pressed against him according to a statement released by the QRL.
While the Storm have a bye in Round 17 and Chambers is playing Origin owners can expect to see him back in Round 18.
Rabbitohs FRF George Burgess has not been named in todays team lists.
Burgess suffered an ankle injury two rounds ago and has yet to return. The injury was originally not thought to be serious but it seems that there may be more to it.
Boom Tigers' fullback James Tedesco has been bitten by the injury bug yet again. He suffered a broken knee cap in round 16 and is set to miss around 10 weeks of action.
Analysis: He's all but done for the season and will carry serious red flags into 2015. His owners have no choice but to trade him out.
Rabbitohs' and Maroons' star Chris McQueen suffered an ankle injury against the Cowboys in round 16 and is in serious doubt for the third Origin match.
Analysis: A pretty lacklustre 2014 from McQueen probably has kept his ownership % low, but anyone with him in their side will have to look elsewhere for at least a couple of weeks.
